Location stood out. It’s right in the heart of Zurich, making it easy to explore local attractions. The room itself had a charming, quirky décor with wooden floors. It was always clean, which I appreciated. The staff was prompt and responsive when I needed assistance. my sleep was quite affected due to persistent noise from the bar downstairs and street traffic late into the night. The breakfast left much to be desired. it lacked fresh options and was more basic than I expected. Another downside was the air conditioning, which didn’t work effectively, leaving the room uncomfortably warm during my stay. The single fan provided felt inadequate. I enjoyed the uniqueness of the hotel’s theme, however, the noise and comfort factors really impacted my experience.

Friendly and helpful staff with a great location.
I experienced several frustrating issues during my stay. First, the air conditioning in my room was ineffective, making it uncomfortably warm. the cleanliness left much to be desired. I had to request towels and coffee supplies multiple times. To top it off, the noise from the nearby bar and street significantly disrupted my sleep.

The Superior Double or Twin Room was spacious and had a unique vibe, with quirky American-themed decor that I really liked. The fridge was a nice touch, too. I found it a bit noisy at night coming from the nearby bar, which made it tough to sleep. the cleanliness was good but not exceptional. Still, I enjoyed the comfy beds and the well-thought-out amenities like plenty of charging ports.

i had a great time at california, way better than my last stay in the city! the location was fantastic, close to everything and we loved the room with a wooden floor. breakfast was good, but could be better for the price.
